Noah Steinberg is the Director of Advanced Technologies at Helena.
Before Helena, Noah was a mechanical engineering and political science dual major at Yale University. He also competed on the lightweight rowing and club wrestling teams. His summers were spent tinkering with motorcycles and business process analytics in the heavy manufacturing space.
Prior to 2014, Noah was the youngest founding board member of the Michigan Urban Farming Initiative (MUFI), a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Detroit’s North End. In addition to having one of the highest producing and most highly trafficked urban farms in the country, that supplies thousands of pounds of produce to Detroit households, MUFI works to drive innovation in blue & green infrastructure though piloting cost-competitive models for blight deconstruction.
Noah left Yale University after two years to operate Helena full time. He is 22.
